Appointed 2014. Mr. Lowther is a native of Broomfield, Colorado. He has been teaching high school math since 1995, including seven years at Windsor High School and twelve years at Rifle High School. Mr. Lowther has experience teaching all levels of Math from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus and International Baccalaureate classes. Throughout his career, he has also coached football, soccer, baseball and basketball, including ten years as a head boys basketball coach at Rifle High School. Through his teaching and coaching, Chris hopes to inspire students to develop better relationships with each other and with God. He wants to help students not only understand but to appreciate Mathematics. Mr. Lowther enjoys traveling with his wife, Pamela, and son Cameron. He loves spending time with Cameron outdoors, fishing, swimming or just playing at the park. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and skiing.
