Appointed 2012. Mr. Kosirog teaches World and the West and United States History. He comes to Valor from Indiana. Before beginning to teach in the states, Mr. Kosirog spent a little over a year in the Dominican Republic working with Kids Alive International. His roles were to teach English for grades K–8 and support communication between the students and their American supporters. After a year, he returned to Indiana to teach in an urban setting at Providence Cristo Rey High School, as well as get married to his now wife, Emily. While at Providence Cristo Rey, he was Dean of Students and taught Social Studies. When he isn’t teaching, Mr. Kosirog loves to be active and work with his hands. He and his wife also love playing ultimate Frisbee, going out to eat and doing many outdoor activities unique to Colorado.
