Appointed 2017. Gayle earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado and received her Colorado State Teaching License in 1990. She earned a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1994.

Next, she earned a degree in Film Studies: Post-Production from the Colorado Film School in 1994 and a Drone Pilot License from the Drone Pilot Ground School in 2016.

Gayle has more than 20 years of experience teaching video production and broadcasting at a variety of schools. She also taught at-risk youth with the Binning Family Foundation. She’s also served as information technology staff and trainer.

In 1990, Gayle was honored with the Outstanding Future Educator Award. In 1994, she was a Colorado Film School Film Festival Award Winner.

She’s been married for more than twenty years and has two daughters. She also coaches boat driving, wakeboarding and water skiing and consults as a professional camera operator for a sports streaming company.
