Appointed 2008….. At Valor, Mrs. Hutchison has taught Global Studies, World and the West, US History and Controversial America: Study of the 1960s, in addition to a history elective, “The Me Generation: the 1970s and 1980s in America”. Prior to her Valor appointment, Mrs. Hutchison had 6 years of teaching experience in Colorado, North Carolina, and Nevada. She has a passion for encouraging students to love and appreciate History while finding God’s guidance and provision throughout the history of this world. In addition to her interests and passion in the classroom, she is a Valor Discovery leader for the Bahamas leadership and mission trip, as well as the Washington DC inauguration trip. She has served as an Assistant Coach for the girls basketball team, and the girls softball team. She is married to her husband, Bryan, and has two step-children, Abby and Aidan. When she is not in the classroom or serving God’s Kingdom overseas, Beth loves to work on her parent’s cattle ranch in Bailey, CO, and spend her time hiking and reading. Mrs. Hutchison was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2013.
