Appointed 2011. Prior to her Valor appointment, Ms. Daniels taught in the suburbs of Chicago for 14 years at Wheaton Academy, a private Christian high school, where she received the Wilbur A. Hiller Teaching award. Ms. Daniels also taught at Wheaton College for 3 years. She loves to travel, especially with students. Some of her favorite destinations are England, Italy, Morocco, Ecuador, and Zambia. Aimee has studied abroad at Oxford University and participated in a creativity workshop in Florence, Italy. In her free time, Ms. Daniels loves to hike in the mountains and kayak. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4: 4-9 and her favorite author is Annie Dillard.
