World Language and Math Placement Testing
Math Placement: 3:30 pm check-in, 3:45–5:00 pm testing | Academic Building

No advanced registration required. Bring a calculator and pencils. Please do not arrive prior to 3:20 pm due to carpool congestion. Parking is available in the lots located on the north side of the Academic Building.

World Language Placement: 5:00 pm check-in, 5:15–6:15 pm testing

Service Hours Head Start Options Announced
Each year, students are required to serve a minimum of 25 approved service hours with a cumulative total of 100 approved service hours by the end of four years of enrollment at Valor. The service hour requirement for Valor transfer students is pro-rated based upon Valor enrollment date.

For service hours to meet Valor requirements, they must be served with pre-approved organizations. These organizations are primarily faith-based that serve the poor and marginalized. Click here for a list of authorized organizations, or send an email to discovery@valorchristian.com to request approval for an organization not already listed. It is important to complete this approval process before completing service.

During the summer months which precede the start of the academic year, Valor students including freshmen and transfer students may work toward fulfilling their service hours. Several dates are listed among the summer calendar items below.

Please refer to these videos regarding auditions. Please memorize all five videos. One pom routine (1 minute), one jazz routine (1 minute), three turn combinations, two sidelines and one kickline. Dancers will execute all memorized material on the day of tryouts.

Fall Play Auditions

Auditions will be in the morning, with callbacks in the afternoon. Our upperclassmen accompany new students to lunch to get to know them and welcome them into the Valor theatre program.

Incoming Athletic Performance Training Begins
Freshmen: 8:00–9:45 am | Stadium Weight Room
June 4 will start a 9-week program of lifting and performance, Mondays through Thursdays. We want to make sure that we are building strong athletes. The summertime allows our performance staff the opportunity to teach proper technique and make sure your athlete is prepared for their seasons ahead. Contact: Bryan Glover

‘Dead’ Week—No Athletic Activities
This is a great time to schedule vacation! These are guaranteed dates that you will be able to get away and be with your family and know that you will not miss a thing. Our athletic dead week is in place to ensure a consistent and dedicated time (week of July 4th every year, which is the Friday before to the Sunday after) for every family to have a break that they can plan out ahead of time.

Magnus Health Medical Forms Due
Valor partners with Magnus Health to provide a safe and secure way to collect and manage student records. By May you will receive a welcome email from Magnus Health providing you a link to their system and login credentials.

For your convenience, we will be collecting all necessary student forms for the upcoming school year through Magnus Health. The best part is that once you’ve completed and uploaded the documents, you will only need to update records each year. Another benefit is the parent customer service line available to assist with any questions about the Magnus website.

As soon as you receive your email from Magnus, we recommend that you get started on the process, as some of the forms require a physician signature.
