Welcome Class of 2023! Before you know it, you'll be on campus for your first day of High School. We can't wait to welcome you! Until then, this page is for you. We'll post important information about enrollment, registering for courses, summer opportunities, Eagle's Nest store promotions, Athlete Night, and more.
Regardless of your current enrollment status, please plan to attend a mandatory workshop for all freshmen and at least one parent where you will receive essential information about selecting courses for next year.
Please plan to attend for the entire 90 minutes. The Dean of Academic Services will present necessary information you need to fill out course selection paperwork, and Academic and Conservatory counselors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
There are several opportunities to attend this workshop over the next few months, so pick a time that works with your schedule. The date of the workshop you attend will not affect your student's ability to enroll in courses.
Please print these course request documents and bring a copy to your workshop. Copies of the forms will also be available at the workshop. All workshops will take place in the Valor Center Performance Hall.
Thursday, March 14
Thursday, April 4
No RSVP is necessary for these events.
If you have any questions, please contact Sheila Beckie, Lead Academic and College Counselor.
Special Placement Testing for Math & World Languages
If you want to enroll in a Math course higher than Algebra 1 or a World Language course above a Novice 1 level, you will be required to take a placement test. Both tests are available on both testing dates, and pre-registration is not required. You will need a calculator for the Math placement test. Testing dates are:
Thursday, April 11
Check in 3:45 pm
Testing begins 4:00 pm
Saturday, April 13
Check in 9:15 am
Testing begins 9:30 am
Each test will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Testing will take place in the Valor Academic Building.
You should have received an email titled Valor Enrollment Information for the 2019-2020 school year. It has step-by-step instructions on how enroll, as well as a personal enrollment link that you will need to use. If you did not receive this correspondence, please contact the Office of Enrollment.
Mark your calendar and join us for Welcome To The Nest on April 17, our annual spring welcome event for incoming freshmen and their parents. New students will meet future classmates and teachers, learn about activities they can be involved in, and even walk away with a special gift. Meanwhile, parents will get to hear from school administrators, faculty, and current parents about what to expect Freshman year and how to help your student prepare over the summer.
Watch for more information once you have completed your enrollment contract.
