We will be serving at Denver Rescue Mission to assist with kitchen prep work at The Crossing, a transitional facility that houses the STAR Transitional Program and the New Life Program (NLP).

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and anyone under 18 needs an adult chaperone.

The Adopt-a-Block program is an outreach that demonstrates God’s unconditional love through practical acts of service.  The vision of Adopt-a-Block is to build long-term relationships and trust with the neighborhoods we serve.  As we consistently serve each week, we believe that God is creating change and making a lasting impact in the lives of the people we meet.  Join us as we serve food, play games, paint nails, distribute donations, and build family!
 
When: Every 1st and 3rd Saturday
Time: 10AM to 12:30PM

The All-Stars Club offers a night of fun for individuals with special needs, while giving their parents & caregivers a night of rest. Come volunteer as a buddy for this special Christmas event with one of our all-stars and make a difference!

By volunteering as a buddy you will:

  • Make a difference in the life of an all-stars by being a much-needed friend
  • Afford their parents or caregiver a night of essential rest
  • Show in action how much these families are cared for by our community

As a buddy, you will have a blast hanging out with one of our all-stars all while making a huge impact on their life. And you don’t need any experience to be a part of our volunteer team. We have experts on site that will match you with an all-star that fits your experience and be on hand to help in any way possible.

We have the opportunity to serve with Food Bank of the Rockies in their Warehouse this November. Join us as we inspect, clean, sort, and box items received through food drives and grocery rescue for distribution to clients. This area requires an attention to detail and is a low-impact to physical area.

Sweet Dream in a Bag is a Christian faith-based charity that gifts children living in poverty with a new bedding package. The children usually reside in a temporary home or attend a head start school as their family is attempting to rebuild their lives. Sweet Dream’s passion is to offer the entire family Christ’s love, encouragement and hope.
 
Details: The Gifting Event is where volunteers serve with Sweet Dream in a Bag leaders to give a child their special ‘Sweet Dream Bag’ and then spend time with the child and read the personalized book that they receive during the event. It is a great way to share Christ’s love.

Come join a group of other students and adults from Valor to help prepare shoeboxes at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Centennial. All volunteers must be at least 13 years of age, regardless of a student’s grade level. Due to the warehouse environment, we can allow no exceptions to this age requirement. At least one chaperone for every four youth is required (youth volunteers include any volunteers between the ages of 13-17.) All volunteers must complete a waiver form that you will receive when you sign-up.
