Technology Students Compete at State

Congratulations to Valor students who competed at the Technology Student Association (TSA) state conference in Denver this week. To prepare for the competitions, they each worked for months to learn and hone skills in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), garment design and sewing, video game creation, forensic science, and robotics. Students designed and built dragsters, planes, a video game, and a themed garment ensemble. They also prepared portfolios to document and present their work process.

System Control Technology (a 3.5 hour robotics design challenge): Team of Kai Pankoski, Kale Pankoski, Breck Massey, 1st Place
Fashion Design and Technology: Team of Mollie Porch, Liana Penn, Sydney Baller, Anderson Porch, 2nd place
Forensic Science: Team of Liana Penn and Peyton Brown, 2nd Place
Flight Endurance: Sydney Baller, 3rd Place
Technology Bowl: Semifinalists Liana Penn, Peyton Brown, Sydney Baller
Video Game Design: Semifinalists Conrad Clay and Breck Massey

Students also qualified for the National TSA conference in multiple events.
