Rhetoric Major Endorsement

Required Courses:

  • Intro to Logic
  • Advanced Formal Logic
  • Rhetoric
  • History
  • (Honors Humanities I and II preferred)

Additional Requirements

  • Experiential Engagement: 5 Experiential Units (EUs)
  • Service: 2 qualifying activities
  • Capstone thesis required

Rhetoric Minor Endorsement

Required Courses:

  • Intro to Logic

  • History
  • (Honors Humanities I and II preferred)

  • Experiential Engagement: 3 Experiential Units (EUs)

Definitions and Details

Experiential Engagement

Experiential Engagement is significant contribution and immersion in hands-on activities related to your area of specialization. Engagement will be measured by Experiential Units (EUs).

Service Activity

A qualifying Service Activity is a significant contribution to and involvement in serving others using skills related to the rhetorical arts.
