Eagles place second at Jeffco Relays meet, break new League records

The boys swim and dive team was back in competition on Saturday, April 8, at the Jeffco Relays, where the Eagles placed second overall out of eight 4A Jeffco League schools. The team placed first in four events: the 200 Breaststroke Relay (new All Jeffco 4A/5A meet record), the 6-Dive Diving Relay, the 200 Freestyle Relay (new Jeffco 4A meet record), and the 200 Backstroke/Breaststroke Relay (new All Jeffco 4A/5A meet record). Valor had entries in three additional relays, and placed third in the 200 Butterfly/Freestyle Relay, fourth in the 500 Crescendo Relay, and fifth in the 200 Medley Relay. Overall, fantastic performances from all of our athletes. The Valor boys swim and dive team will make waves next Saturday at 5:00 pm in an away meet against Lakewood High School and Golden High School. The meet will take place Carmody Recreation Center.  Lets go Eagles!
