The girl’s lacrosse team went 1-1 last week, with a big 16-11 win against Chatfield and a tough 9-8 loss against Dakota Ridge.Their hard work is starting to shine through and the team is beginning to execute the game plan with more precision than earlier games. Freshman Lauren Rismani stood out against Chatfield with 4 goals, 3 assists, 5 draw controls and 1 interception.
The Eagle’s game against Dakota Ridge was hard fought the entire 50 minutes and came down to the final seconds. Payton Cheedle (freshman) stood out for her efforts on the draw and being the spear head of the team’s success in this area against one of the best draw takers in the state. Junior Addy Tysdal played exceptionally, holding down the defense with 24 saves. Senior Maddie Altman had 4 goals on 6 shots against Chatfield and 3 goals on 4 shots against Dakota Ridge boasting a whopping 70% shooting percentage on the two games.
