Eagles fall to Chaparral in a hard-fought battle

The Valor girls lacrosse team continued League play last week, facing top League opponents. The girls lost a close league game to Chaparral on Tuesday. The Eagles jumped out to a 6-4 lead at half, but ended up falling 11-8 after a grueling second half. The Eagles started two freshmen and two sophomores on attack. The younger players have grown tremendously with each hard-fought game.

On Thursday, our JV players played Regis. It was great to see all the players get in and play significant time. Katie Baller scored her first lacrosse goal ever and Isabel Nicolai had a chance to try playing goalie.

The Eagles enter their last week of season with Cheyenne Mountain on the road on Tuesday, and senior night at home on Thursday against Ralston Valley.
