There are many ways for students to generously give of their time and resources in our local community. Below, you can see examples of local Discovery Experiences from recent years as well as links to full lists of current opportunities.

Denver Urban

Serving the spiritual and physical needs of Denver’s homeless, elderly, youth and refugee populations.

Chemistry Demo Doers

Teaching chemistry and science to elementary school students at the Wellspring Community.

Christ’s Body Homeless Shelter

Preparing meals, caring for the facilities, organizing donations of clothing and food, praying in the community and loving our neighbors who daily struggle to find any place to call home.

Serving Children in Denver

Providing a craft party for children who are patients at Children’s Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus.

Serving Littleton

Doing non-profit/community development work in Littleton at three different organizations: North Littleton Promise, Love INC, and the Littleton Life Center.

Current Opportunities

The Discovery office compiles a list of service opportunities each month for students. There are also group service opportunities and pre-approved service partners, so students can volunteer in their area of interest.
