Washington D.C. has struggled with the issue of homelessness since 1880. In recent years, gentrification has added to the problems in our nation’s capital city. The Discovery D.C. team will partner with CSM to learn about our country’s rich history and also serve those in need through the preparation and service of meals, yard clean-up for seniors, and neighborhood outreach. This team will also spend a few days exploring several museums throughout the city.
