Our ultimate goal is transformed lives and transformed communities.  Meeting the spiritual needs of “the least of these,” the hopeless ones, by partnering with local pastors and their congregations to serve their communities. We build homes for the homeless, provide medical care for the sick, and offer expanding educational support for the children in the poorest, most remote colonias of Juarez. Our short term mission trips are adventures in faith and service as participants share a transformative team experience and make God’s love known in word and deed.

God has taught us the importance of holistic community transformation.  It is necessary to invest into the entire network of people: leaders, churches, parents/guardians, children, schools, medical resources, etc.  That is why Hope in Our City will focus on entire communities.

Our strategy is that through building relationships we will be able to develop individuals in the seven specific areas of language, employment, education, life-skills, citizenship, health and spiritual development.  An individual bettering themselves in these areas will lead to a better community, which leads to a stronger city, which leads to a healthier nation and ultimately a world filled with hope today and for all eternity through belief in Jesus.

Street’s Hope

Welcome to Street’s Hope. As advocates, we believe that every woman should feel dignified and live the life they were intended to live. That’s why we are working to heal women escaping the commercial sex industry and sex trafficking, empowering them to transform their lives. We began this work in 2004 and have continued to grow and develop as an organization over the years, implementing evidence-based holistic services. Now, as the only residential program serving this specific population of women in Colorado, we aspire to nurture women trapped in the commercial sex industry and help them heal, transform and thrive.

“Camp Barnabas is a unique ministry in Missouri providing Christian camping experiences to people with special needs and chronic illnesses, along with their siblings. The program exists to offer life-changing experiences to campers and to the people who serve them. Utilizing the camp venue, our organization provides ministry and social experiences that increase spiritual knowledge, social learning, and human dignity.

Our goal is to show others the love of Christ in every aspect of our ministry. Camp Barnabas goes beyond one week at summer camp. The Barnabas experience changes perspectives and redefines disability.”

City Connexx Mission Trips

By matching your group’s talents, desires and goals to an inner city or Native American ministry, you will have the opportunity to live, work and worship in one of America’s at-risk neighborhoods while under the supervision and care of ministry staff that know the area and culture. All of our ministry sites are living and serving in the communities where you and your group will be staying, so they know the heartbeat first hand.

Hope in Our City

Ben Sooy

K-Life

K-Life is a community-wide, interdenominational Christian ministry of discipleship and fellowship for youth and their families. Through a variety of activities (weekly clubs, small group Bible studies, mission trips, ski trips, and monthly events), K-Life kids grow in their faith and have lots of fun in the process. They learn that following Christ and discovering His plan for their life is the most exciting adventure of all and that they can count on friendship and support from leaders and peers who care.

Young Life

Youth for Christ

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other likeminded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.
