Valor Discovery continues to find ways to serve others during the pandemic.

We value students engaging in person and this applies to sending students near and far, to represent Christ through their service with Discovery. Your student won’t want to miss this time to learn more about the many ways Valor can continue to be a light during these times. Read on to preview all the experiences Discovery has already offered this fall and is offering in 2021.

Fall Local Experiences

During Fall Break, students had many opportunities to serve in the Denver-metro area, along Colorado’s Western Slope and in our rural communities:

  • Students completed work projects at a Buena Vista ranch which provides equine therapy and ministry to local children – just a two hour drive from Denver.
  • Students on the Colorado Western Slope Team worked on projects and assisted with children’s activities at the Teepee Bible camp.
  • Many more served on Denver teams by participating in distributing food to the homeless, ministering to urban youth and seniors, and other outreach activities. A complete list of experiences can be found on the Discovery Experiences page.
