Boys Lax Looks To Build On Back-To-Back Titles

The 2018 Valor Christian Boy’s Lacrosse program is looking for a three-peat this spring after losing 12 Seniors from 2017. The Eagles will look for new leadership from five seniors; Sean Traynor, Austin Saupe, Nick Marshall, John West and Easton Cecil will look to finish off their careers at Valor on a strong note before heading to play lacrosse at the next level. The program has a strong group of juniors and sophomores and the incoming freshmen will be challenging the upperclassmen all spring for time on the field. The boy’s squad will rely heavily on sophomore goaltender Jack Liselli and our new freshmen keeper Mitch Gutgsell.

The Lacrosse program will kick off its season on the road against Chatfield High School on Friday, March 9, and will play two more games at home before heading to Florida to take on national powerhouse IMG and Plant High School. The spring break trip and Practicum Week Retreat will continue be a crucial time for team bonding and service for others. The Eagles season will have battles with rivals Cheyenne Mountain, Dawson and will be taking on 5A programs Lewis Palmer, Legend and a very strong Heritage squad on Senior Night April 16.
