The Valor boys lacrosse team had a tough and gritty effort against 4A rival Kadets from Air Academy High School on Monday night. The Eagles jumped to an early 6-0 lead in the first quarter, then cruised to a 13-4 victory. Leading the way for the tough Eagle defense was 11 saves by goal Jack Liselli, Brandon Boehm with six ground balls and Easton Cecil with four ground balls. The offense was fueled by nine different players getting points for the Eagles. Grayson Goodyear had five goals and two assists. Other contributors were Lance Tillman (1 goal, 2 assists), Montana McLaughlin (1 goal, 3 assists), Gianni Orlando (1 goal), Sean Traynor (1 assist), Austin Saupe (2 goals), Ben Seidlin (1 goal), Dante Orlando (1 goal), and Eric Pacheco (1 goal). Once again, the offense was sparked by Eric Pacheco winning 15 of the 20 face-offs he took.
Wednesday night, the lacrosse program will honor the 11 seniors playing their final regular season home game against 5A Legend at 7:00 PM. These seniors will be honored in a pre-game ceremony starting at 6:30 PM – John Briggs, Ben Seidlin, Brandon Boehm, Dylan Coles, Hayden Courier, Grayson Goodyear, Nick Pacheco, Gianni Orlando, Cullen Schwarz, Noah Platzer, and Robert (Robo) Lanz.
