Boys Lacrosse ends season strong, earns second overall seed in 4A State Playoffs

The Valor boys lacrosse team finished the regular season with a strong win over the 5A Titans from Legend to earn the number two spot in the State Tourney for the third year in a row.

On Wednesday, the lacrosse program honored the 11 seniors playing their final regular season home game. The seniors played a HUGE role in the 20-11 victory over 5A State tourney bound Legend. John Briggs (1 goal), Ben Seidlin (1 goal, 1 assist), Brandon Boehm (1 GB), Dylan Coles (Tenacious Defense), Hayden Courier (Strong Defensive Leadership), Grayson Goodyear (4 goals, 2 assists), Nick Pacheco (80 percent win at faceoffs), Gianni Orlando (2 goals, 1 assist), Cullen Schwarz (Tremendous Defensive Hustle), Noah Platzer (Big Strong Defense), and Robert (Robo) Lanz (2 GB), all played an integral role in the win.

The Eagles will open the 4A State tourney as the number two seed Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm against Battle Mountain in the Valor Stadium.
