Sports Medicine

Valor is committed to providing our athletes with the highest level of injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation though our Sports Medicine Team. Valor employs one full-time Certified Athletic Trainer with two part-time assistants, and partners with our volunteers to provide a high level of care. With over 80% of our students participating in athletics, our two training rooms are equipped with modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hydrotherapy as well as numerous rehabilitation tools. Athletic Trainer Allen Schroeder and his staff oversee the daily care of our athletes.

Our athletic trainers and team physicians are committed to providing the most comprehensive and safest care possible. To ensure the highest level of care, all athletes are encouraged to speak with the Athletic Training Staff immediately upon concern of a health issue. Training Room hours are from 8:30 a.m. am until 30 minutes past the last competition or practice of the day. Lunch treatments occur daily to allow athletes to be integrated at practices.

Dr. Patrick McNair

Dr. Patrick McNair is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in the care of athletes of all sports and ages. He is fellowship trained in both Orthopedic Sports Medicine
and Traumatology. He has experience in diagnosis and treatment of athletes ranging from international, professional, collegiate, and high school ranks. He practices with Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center in Littleton.


Dr. Thomas Noonan

Dr. Noonan is a physician at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver where he specializes in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders. He is also skilled in the evaluation of general orthopedic problems such as fractures and ankle sprains. He is the Head Team Physician for the Colorado Rockies major league baseball team. Dr. Noonan and his wife live in Denver with their two daughters.
