What is Valor Performance?
At the Valor Performance Center we train with a purpose: to build better athletes. Our athletes will train according to their sport-specific demands, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and training techniques. We develop training programs designed specifically to enhance our athletic performance and to stay strong and healthy all season long. This gives us and our athletes the best chance of success, as we strive to achieve our goals physically, mentally and spiritually as we compete to bring glory to Jesus Christ.
Valor Performance training sessions, which are dedicated to the development of the complete athlete, are open to all Valor students. It is our hope that all of our athletes take advantage of this great opportunity by training year-round in our Performance Program!
Why do I need speed training and weight training?
This advanced performance program is designed for students participating in competitive sports and activities. It features instruction on the techniques of weight training and conditioning as they pertain to athletic competition. Valor performance involves a physically demanding program of weight training and fitness activities designed to enhance speed, agility, mobility, explosiveness, and coordination. In addition, the implementation of the Functional Movement Screen, education on substance abuse, sports nutrition, and fitness principles are applied . Students undergo periodic strength and fitness assessments as well as student performance goals are developed frequently.
All athletes will receive 1 bar prior to any exercise (Training, practice, etc.) and 1 shake post-exercise. Muscle Milk Collegiate products are available to purchase by our Valor community throughout the year. To place an order, please fill out the order form and turn into the Athletic Development staff (Bryan Glover or Allen Schroeder). Unless we are out of stock on a particular product, we will fill your order immediately, so please hand it directly to one of the above staff members.

At Valor, we understand how important it is for athletes to fuel their bodies to meet their high-level lifestyles and sport demands. Our Nutrition program educates and provides our athletes with the right tools so that they’re ready to compete at home, or out on the road.
