Visual Arts Programs
Traditional Media
Valor’s traditional media program offers students first class studio experiences in ceramics, drawing, and painting.
With a traditional approach that encourages digital sensibilities, students build strong technical foundations and move into conceptual forms of expression. We explore the ‘why’ behind student work at every level and dive deep into ‘creating because we were created.’
Students exhibit their work in our galleries and on our walls year-round. And student exhibitions range from large to small and intimate, with work being displayed around the city as well. Student voice is paramount; our events have heavy student involvement with many creative leadership opportunities.

Digital Media
Valor’s digital media program offers students state-of-the-art studio experiences in film, design, and photography. With a digital approach that encourages traditional and hands on practices, students build strong technical foundations and move into conceptual forms of expression.
Photography students will find a wide range of subject matter through class trips with our desire to provide opportunities far beyond the walls of the classroom and campus. Our spaces allow for screen printing, dark room, green screen, television broadcasts, and high-level editing among others.
