The Valor Conservatory for the Arts includes a high level of commitment beyond the required one art credit for graduation. The Conservatory requires six arts credits to graduate with the Conservatory Distinction on your diploma. The Conservatory desires for students to have both academic success as well as achieving this six credit requirement. It takes a conservative partnership from the student and the family throughout their four years at Valor to successfully meet these goal.
Please acknowledge that you and your parents willing to partner with the Conservatory as you work toward this goal by signing your full names below.
The Valor Conservatory Leadership Team will request applicant transcripts from the Admissions Office and review them as part of the application process.
Currently enrolled Valor students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in order to be considered for involvement in The Valor Conservatory for the Arts, and maintain this GPA for continued participation in the program. Assessment of academic progress is made in conjunction with the Student-Conservatory Faculty Review held at the end of each semester.
Each applicant will be contacted directly to arrange for a music, theatre or dance audition and interview. Audition processes vary greatly by discipline; we will work with each applicant to determine an audition approach that best complements his/her strengths. Students who excel in multiple disciplines may elect to do more than one audition.
