Fit Comes First, Needs Comes Second
Acceptance to Valor is based primarily on the fit of the student and family, not their financial situation. For this reason, our admission process comes before and stands separate from the tuition assistance process.
Through the admission process, Valor welcomes students from a variety of
backgrounds who, along with their parents, are excited to engage in the
school community. They are committed to academic excellence. They are
growing in others-centered service and leadership. They bring individual
talents in arts, athletics and other co-curricular interests

Need-Based Aid
Valor offers financial aid based entirely on need. Funds are distributed according to the degree of need demonstrated by each family. Approximately one in four Valor students receive aid, in keeping with the national benchmark among private independent schools.
Valor doesn’t offer merit scholarships or discounts of any kind to any student, including students of employees. However, Valor recognizes that sibling enrollment can affect financial need.
Valor works with an independent third party to process all tuition assistance requests and verify financial information. Your full and accurate disclosure at the start of the process helps avoid follow-up questions or research that may delay a decision on behalf of your student. Both your application and your award, if granted, are kept confidential.
