You may not have started high school with us, but don’t let that stop you from finishing as part of our Valor community.
Our small class sizes will help you acclimate quickly and make friends even faster. And our athletics, arts, co-curricular and service programs will give you many ways to get involved, even on your first day.
Transfer Student Program
In the first few years of Valor Christian High School, we were a school of mainly transfer students. Today, we are still excited to welcome students with varying high school experiences to join the Valor community. Our greatest desire is to provide students with the high school education that fits best with their future goals and inspire them to go into the world to represent Christ in all they do.
We require all transfer students to submit an admissions application, their most current grade report or transcript and to provide a Valor Christian High School approved test score (usually a PSAT, PRE-ACT, SAT or ACT).
If you do not have one of these approved tests please contact the admissions office. You will also have to complete all of the items in the Valor Application checklist, which includes three references (math, english and an administrator) and a family interview. Once enrolled, Valor Christian requires all transfer students to take the grade/class appropriate Valor placement exam for English, Math and World Languages.
Mid-year transfers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Valor Christian High School prefers that transfer students start at the beginning of the school year but understands that at times situations dictate otherwise. If you are interested in transferring to Valor mid-year (January), please contact the admissions office to request mid-year consideration. In rare instances, Valor Christian allows students to transfer during the semester (two weeks after the start of the semester), which is usually a result of a family relocation to the area. Please contact the Office of Admissions prior to completing the application if you are looking to transfer during the semester.

- Valor Approved Test
- Official Transcript/Grade Report
- Math Recommendation (a picture of current math book/work is recommended)
- English Recommendation
- Administrator Recommendation
- $150 application fee
- Interview with approved Valor Staff Member
Once a completed application profile has been received, designated admissions staff members will determine whether the student is accepted.
