Mrs. Anema is passionate about helping new students and families find their place at Valor. Her desire is for each student to feel welcomed and valued the minute they walk through the front doors. She considers it a great privilege to walk alongside new families as they discover all that Valor has to offer. Before her appointment at Valor, Mrs. Anema served at a local Charter School as the Assistant to Principals for 8 years. Prior to that, she worked for IBM as a PC Sales Specialist in the Dallas and Denver area.
Mrs. Anema and her husband have a daughter who attends Valor and a son who will attend in 2021. She loves spending time with her family, reading a good book, and running the dirt trails in the BackCountry.

Mrs. Roberts’ own children attended Valor and were so impacted by their experience that she loves helping prospective parents navigate the high school decision for these pivotal years in their student’s lives. She is excited to help families process a decision that will bring lifelong impact.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Roberts spent time as a consultant for an accounting and appraisal/consulting firm that specializes in hospitality consulting. Since joining the Valor staff, she has had a son and a daughter both graduate from the school.

Appointed 2014. Mrs. Bender worked in banking and at The Denver Post during her career in Human Resources/Employee Relations Management. She has also been involved in ministries for children and teens, for moms through MOPS International and is often found volunteering at her church. Mrs. Bender and her husband are parents of two adult daughters and 3 grand-dogs. She is passionate about serving the students and parents at Valor!
