Sheri Magehee

Academic and College Counselor - Conservatory

Appointed in 2012. Before joining the Valor Arts team, Mrs. Magehee held a long career in sales, marketing, and negotiation. In music, she has worked as a professional singer, performer for USO, songwriter for ASCAP, and has journeyed through 21 years of the music business with her husband and fellow colleague Mr. Marty Magehee. Sheri enjoyed mentoring and volunteering for the Liberty Godparent Home, the Genesis House for abused children, many Veterans hospitals, and was the Honorary Chair and Spokesperson for the Virginian Coalition for Child Abuse Prevention. In college, Mrs. Magehee forged a new path to create her own degree program. Now, she guides students through the Valor Conservatory and into college, hoping to inspire them to use all of their talents in both academics and arts to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. In her free time, she loves decorating and spending as much time as possible with her husband and three sons (two are Valor alumni).
