Roosevelt Leslie

Instructional Faculty - 9th Grade Seminar

Appointed 2017. Mr. Leslie received bachelor’s degrees in both Sports Science/Recreation Management and Biblical Studies/Youth Ministry from Colorado Christian University in 2003. Since then, he has taught, provided academic support, and coached basketball in several high schools in the Denver area since 2003. He also served in academic support roles at various universities in Colorado. In addition, Mr. Leslie has served as a youth pastor, missionary, counselor, and mentor.

As assistant varsity coach, he helped Abraham Lincoln High School win three 4A Basketball State Championships. Thanks to his contribution as assistant varsity coach, the Valor Boy’s Basketball Team won the State Championship in 2017.

He enjoys ministering and mentoring inner-city youth. Roosevelt is married with two children and likes to travel and spend time with his family.
