Her first year at Valor, Coach Benner was named 2019 Continental League Coach of the Year, 2019 CHSAA State Coach of the Year, and received the 2018-2019 Valor Excellence in Coaching Award.

Coach Benner attends Restoration Community Church and, when not supporting Valor athletics, loves exploring the mountains with her dog, Sully.
