Lars Nielsen

Instructional Faculty - Bible

Appointed 2007. Prior to his appointment to the Bible Department at Valor, Mr. Nielsen served at Red Rocks Church in Golden as a Care Pastor, Small Groups Pastor and developed their Red Rocks University platform. He has served in youth ministry in Pasadena, CA, college ministry in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and has been both an executive pastor and missionary. Mr. Nielsen has been teaching and preaching since 1998. He is a member of the Society of Biblical Scholars, serves with the Tebow Foundation and assists in networking Valor grads with career aspirations.

In his time at Valor, he has developed and created several Bible Electives: Heroes of the Faith (O.T. Class), Modern Heroes of the Faith (Historic Theology Seminar).  He served in the Curriculum oversight committee and lead in the development the Senior Bible Curriculum and co-developed the second year, Steps of Paul class.  Mr. Nielsen also established and lead the Euro Bible Discovery Experience, taking students through Europe, in a Worldview discovery and theological reflection of Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and England.
