Kurt Gutschick

History Department Chair

Appointed 2010. Mr. Gutschick was born and raised in Colorado and met his wife, Amy in college at CSU. Upon competition of his studies, he worked for a U.S. Senator from Colorado. God called both Mr. Gutschick and his wife into education in Colorado Springs, at which point, Mr. Gutschick completed his Master’s degree and found his passion teaching Economics. Mr. Gutschick joined the Valor faculty in 2010: where he started the AP Economics program, along with the Valor Society of Economic Studies. Kurt also advises numerous campaigns at the local, state, and federal level. He has three wonderful children and is currently studying for his EeD in Professional Development and Technology at the University of Colorado, Denver.
