Kurt Gutschick

History - Instructional Faculty, Department Chair

Appointed 2010. Mr. Gutschick was born and raised in Colorado and met his wife, Amy as students at CSU. Upon competition of his studies, he worked for a U.S. Senator from Colorado. God called both Mr. Gutschick and his wife into education in Colorado Springs, at which point, Mr. Gutschick completed his Master’s degree and found his passion teaching Economics.

At Valor, Mr. Gutschick started the AP Economics program, along with the Valor Society of Economic Studies.  He also advises numerous campaigns at the local, state, and federal level. Mr. Gutschick completed his Doctorate of Educational in Leadership for Educational Equality from the University of Colorado in the spring of 2021. He and Amy have three wonderful children.
