Kristine Wolberg

Instructional Faculty - English

Appointed 2009. Prior to her appointment at Valor, Dr. Wolberg taught literature and writing courses for Colorado Christian University, Houghton College, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Notre Dame. She is the author of several scholarly articles, as well as All Possible Art: George Herbert’s The Country Parson. In 2010, her youth novel, Beyond the Hedge, was released. Kristine’s family includes her husband, Dale, their daughter, Erika, and two sons, Jack and Nathan. Before settling in Highlands Ranch in 2001, they lived in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Finland, Scotland, and England. Dr. Wolberg enjoys walking, reading, and good discussions–especially about the Bible, literature and culture and the Inklings. She can often be found reading George Herbert, Charles Dickens, C.S. Lewis, or J.R.R. Tolkien.
