Alejandro Kim

Instructional Faculty - World Language (Spanish)

Appointed 2020. Currently, Mr. Kim serves as a church planter in a Latino-Hispanic community in the metro Denver area besides teaching Spanish. He previously have served as a youth pastor for about 10 years, then as a Missions pastor from 2003 to 2013 in various churches. He came to Colorado in 2013 as a lead pastor to serve a small local church in Denver. He has also taught Spanish for six years prior to Valor in various schools in Philadelphia PA and in Colorado. He has served in overseas short-term missions in 20 different countries as a facilitator and mobilizer, training and equipping local pastors and young adults. On top if it all, he is also a certified Tae Kwon Do instructor (5th Dan, black belt).

He and his wife Toyon have two wonderful sons, Joseph and Noah. They enjoy eating a variety of foods and traveling together. In his free time, he loves cooking, fishing, listening to music, and singing with his guitar.
