Instructional Faculty - History

Appointed 2012. Prior to Mr. Culver’s Valor appointment, he was a science teacher in Colorado Springs, an adjunct philosophy instructor at local community colleges, and a part-time PhD student in Religious and Theological studies at the University of Denver. Over the past 18 years, he has taught a wide variety of subjects ranging from Ethics, Philosophy of Religion, and Science, to Government, AP US History, and Math. His physical training includes hiking 14ers with his children, working to become the 2nd best ping-pong player at Valor, and riotous celebrations when Arsenal scores goals. You can usually find him reading voraciously, cooking, chauffeuring his 4 children around town, or spending time with his wife, Shari.
