Gayle Kakac

Instructional Faculty - Arts+Media - Broadcast and Yearbook

Appointed 2017. Mrs. Kakac has more than 20 years of experience teaching video production and broadcasting at a variety of schools. She also taught at-risk youth with the Binning Family Foundation. She’s served as information technology staff and trainer and spent two years in film school.

In 1990, Mrs. Kakac was honored with the Outstanding Future Educator Award. In 2003, she was a Colorado Film School Film Festival Award Winner.

She coached girls lacrosse for eight years at the high school level and eight years at the youth level. She coached the Runner Up 5A State Champions in 1996. She has also coached water skiing and wake boarding for 30+ years.

Mrs. Kakac and her husband have been married over 20 years. They have two girls who are play lacrosse and have black belts in both Korean and Japanese martial arts. They’ve been blessed to travel the world for martial arts competitions and more recently for lacrosse.
