Gary Fisher

Head of School

Appointed in 2010, Dr. Fisher taught Honors Biology and Anatomy & Physiology in the Science Department prior to becoming the Director of Academics, the Assistant Head of School, to his current role as Head of School. He has also served as an Athletic Director and teacher prior to coming to Valor. Before entering the field of education, he was the owner and chief physician in a large multi-physician podiatry practice in Wheat Ridge. Over the years, he has served on a school board of a K-8 Christian school, been a board member of the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association, and was the Chief of the Podiatry Section in the Department of Surgery at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. More recently, he has served as a mentor in the ACSI Leadership University for emerging heads of Christian schools.

Dr. Fisher applies his background in education and medicine to his passion for preparing students to be ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Gary is married, has two sons and loves to read, hike and fly fish.
