Christopher Lowther

Instructional Faculty – Math

Appointed 2014. Mr. Lowther is a native of Broomfield, Colorado. He has been teaching high school math since 1995, including seven years at Windsor High School and twelve years at Rifle High School. Mr. Lowther has experience teaching all levels of Math from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus and International Baccalaureate classes. Throughout his career, he has also coached football, soccer, baseball and basketball, including ten years as a head boys’ basketball coach at Rifle High School. He was an assistant girls’ basketball coach at Valor and was part of state championships in 2015 and 2016. Through his teaching and coaching, Mr. Lowther hopes to inspire students to develop better relationships with each other and experience God’s love. He wants to help students understand, apply and appreciate Mathematics. Mr. Lowther enjoys traveling with his family, loves the outdoors, playing basketball, and skiing.
