She is a songwriter, and has worked in the recording studio as a vocalist for Music Theatre International (Nashville) as well as on her own personal album “Little Love.” She has a background of directing, having directed multiple shows and New York play readings. Since relocating to Denver she has been actively involved with the touring gospel show “At the Table with Dr. King,” the episodic film project “Blue Gospel Scripts” and as both an actor and casting assistant at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre.

At Valor, Ms. Champion teaches Songwriting and Piano, conducts private lessons for Conservatory students, and is the director for the Valor Youth Theatre program.  She loves to teach, and hopes to be an authentic and relatable witness to Valor students of what a life with Christ looks like. Her favorite things in life are her family, friends, dogs, the mountains, and good food. She is very happy when any of those things happen at the same time!
