International Student Homestay Program

Valor Christian High School is an ACSI Exemplary Level Accredited school that accepts applications from international students entering freshman, sophomore or junior year.  We issue I-20’s for diploma seeking students (F-1) after enrollment fees are paid. We have host families who are carefully chosen by Valor Christian High School.  Individual college counseling will be provided for each international student.

Application Process

  •   Online application for admissions
  •   Transcripts translated into English from previous schools
  •   Proof of health insurance valid in United States or purchase through Valor
  •   Copy of Passport
  •   Recommendations from current Math and English teachers.  Valor does not have an ESL program, but offers academic support (additional fee) through our RISE program.

Applying students should be proficient in writing, reading and speaking English.

  •   Skype interview
  •   All international applicants will be required to submit the following:
    • TOEFL score at or above 75
    • TOEFL Jr. exam score at over above 785

Additional Information

The student should have emotional maturity and readiness to attend school away from family and friends.  Also, students should desire an education that includes Christian values, Bible study and learning the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

It is the responsibility of the international student to secure a F-1 visa from their home country.  Student passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the length of anticipated stay.

All paperwork submitted to the enrollment department at Valor needs to be translated into English by a certified translator.

The 2016-2017 tuition for an international student is $29,000.  The full tuition payment must be made no later than June 1, 2016. Applications for 2016-2017 school year are due by January 15, 2016.
